Ltd., Dharwad, is a multi-disciplinary professional consulting firm with demonstrated experience in successful management and implementation of projects through out Karnataka and many other states of India . Since its inception in 1973, AMINBHAVI & HEGDE Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd., has been striving to bring about a unique perspective and understanding of the issues faced by the community. The Company is committed to the development of solutions sensitive to the need for appropriate technologies and methods in relation to the cultural, socio-economic, political and geophysical realities of different regions and states.

The firm was established by two enterprising engineers, with the conviction that department projects are formulated and implemented to serve human needs and aspirations. Therefore, development projects should be designed in the most practical manner possible to meet the needs of the intended beneficiaries without foregoing technical quality. Practicality in all development projects requires flexible resource management, active participation of all the entities and a shared goal of strengthening institutions and operational systems to optimize the use of available resources.

It has on its rolls professional staff of about 40 engineers, planners, sociologists and financial analysts. The organization is structured to assure highest quality of service within the established budget. To supplement the in-house staff resources, the company maintains a team of over 25 highly qualified and experienced professionals in multiple disciplines of engineering, whose expertise can be pooled at short notice.

AMINBHAVI & HEGDE Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd., has successfully used these principles to complete projects in various sectors like rural development, rural and urban water supply and sanitation, irrigation, environment and pollution control, industrial structures, private sector industrial development, co-operative sugar mills etc. Beyond traditional project services such as feasibility studies, planning, engineering design, construction management etc., the company provides technical assistance for project supervision to Government and private sector agencies to strengthen institution capabilities, organizational development, technology transfer and training. The company also provides management and monitoring of project progress on a regular basis to meet tight deadlines when necessary.

It has created a database for different project management and implementation works based on the extensive and diversified experience. This database is created with the sole intention of making available the company's experience for all future developmental projects.

In order to strengthen the institutional capabilities, an integrated approach is formulated to provide technical data for rural habitation, water supply, hygiene and sanitation. The company endeavors to make available its resources and assets for development and strengthening of planning, design and implementation of future projects and development plans.

AMINBHAVI & HEGDE a name closely associated with this development of the region is now a Private Limited Company, under the Companies Act 1956. This company has the privilege and expertise of working on major integrated projects in this region. Integrated Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project ( Netherlands assisted) is one such project handled very recently by the Company for design of water supply schemes for 150 villages in Dharwad and Bijapur districts and construction supervision and quality management of additional 34 villages. The work involved close interaction with local community, understanding their aspiration, socio-economic conditions, basic needs and constraints in handling the project, field survey, planning, design, estimation, interaction with village community, village Panchayats etc.

AMINBHAVI & HEGDE have experience in rural water supply schemes including rural roads, drains and other sanitation components. Because of the extensive involvement in the Integrated Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project ( Netherlands assisted) in the recent times, the company has sufficient experience in community development activities. The company is also involved in the survey, planning, designing and estimates of various water supply schemes under Jal Nirmal Project for Belgaum and Dharwad districts.
